The Antigua and Barbuda High Commission in London serves as the primary diplomatic bridge between the twin-island nation and the United Kingdom. Operating as an extension of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the High Commission is led by Her Excellency Karen-Mae Hill, OBE, who has served as High Commissioner since 2016.

Our mission is to safeguard the interests of Antigua and Barbuda on the global stage while strengthening bilateral ties across the UK, Europe, and beyond. We are committed to:

  • Consular Excellence: Providing essential services to our nationals, including passport renewals, citizenship matters, and emergency assistance.

  • Economic Diplomacy: Actively promoting Antigua and Barbuda as a premier destination for investment, sustainable trade, and high-end tourism.

  • Diaspora Engagement: Building a resilient network with our UK-based communities through collaboration with organizations like the Antigua and Barbuda National Association (ABNA).

  • Global Advocacy: Championing the concerns of Small Island Developing States (SIDS), particularly regarding climate resilience and the "Blue Economy."

As we look toward the future, the High Commission is currently playing a pivotal role in coordinating the 2026 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), hosted in St. John’s. Through cultural diplomacy—spanning youth orchestras to cricket exchanges—we continue to showcase the "Gem of the Caribbean" as a nation that consistently punches above its weight.

Located at 45 Crawford Place, we invite our nationals and partners to engage with us as we work toward a shared vision of national development and prosperity.
