Founded in 2003, the Antigua and Barbuda Association of Georgia, Inc. (ABAG) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant, supportive network for Antiguans, Barbudans, and their descendants throughout Georgia and North America.
Our mission is to preserve our rich heritage, empower our community, and create meaningful opportunities for the next generation. We achieve this through four core pillars:
Philanthropic Impact: We are deeply committed to social responsibility. From providing disaster relief and supporting local orphanages to assisting institutions for special-needs children and over 15 schools, we are dedicated to uplifting the underserved.
Empowering Students: Through the ABAG Foundation, we actively invest in our youth. We provide academic scholarships, professional mentorship, personal development workshops, and academic assistance to ensure our students have the tools to succeed.
Culture & Tourism: We serve as a proud cultural hub, facilitating professional networking, celebrating Antiguan and Barbudan traditions, and promoting our beautiful islands as a premier vacation destination.
Health & Wellness: We believe in the holistic growth of our members. Our organization provides resources and programming focused on health, wellness, and fitness to ensure our community thrives both personally and professionally.
